Jessica Lombardo is an active freelance horn player in the New York City area. She has performed with some of the most prestigious ensembles including The New York City Opera, New York Symphonic Arts Ensemble, New York Chamber Players, Manhattan Symphony Orchestra, International Chamber Orchestra of America, Ensemble 212, and K Radio Philharmonic just to name a few. She has been premiered on NPR’s Radio show “From the Top” and has also been reviewed in The New York Times and Broadway World. She frequently performs at some of the most famous concert venues in the world including Carnegie Hall, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, David Geffen Hall and Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center. She has toured all throughout Europe and has participated in world renowned music festivals including the British Isles Music Festival where she worked alongside members of the London Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Lombardo has much experience teaching a wide variety of students. She has taught in NYC public schools and private schools. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Music from Mannes School of Music where her primary teacher was Philip Myers, Principal Horn of The New York Philharmonic. She now enjoys teaching a variety of brass and woodwind students at NYME!
