Brand New Ibanez SRD905F Bass Workshop Fretless Brown Topaz
The SRD905F features an exotic maple top on a double-cutaway semi-hollow okume body bolted to a maple and walnut neck with a fretless panga panga fingerboard with abalone oval position markers. Components include individually mounted Mono-rail 5 bridges with integrated AeroSilk piezo pickups and 19mm string spacing, a pair of Nordstrand Big Break pickups chanelled to an Ibanez 2-band EQ with piezo active tone, a plastic nut, black hardware, and die-cast tuning machines. In addition to the controls on the front of the bass, there are a set of four trimpots on the rear cavity cover which allow you to dial in the piezo volume for each string individually.
The SRD905F has an extended 30-fret fretboard for playing upper register notes usually only accessible on an upright. The AeroSilk MR5 bridges have unique saddles which are specifically designed to work in concert with the piezo pickups to enhance the acoustic upright quality of the tone.
