New From NAMM: Ibanez RG1XX-FPK and RG1XX-FYE - 25th Anniversary Edition

Due to the 25th anniversary of the RG series gutiars, the manufacturer releases the Ibanez RG1XXV-FPK. Not just the fluorescent pink or yellow finish and the black pickguard are reminiscent of the prime of power metal and high-speed solos: the body of the Ibanez RG1XXV-FPK consists of american basswood as the fingerboard of the 5-piece Wizard neck provides floresant Sharktooth inlays. DiMarzio IBZ pickups produce a distinctive tone which is defined by aggressive mids and fast and precise attack, Together with the Edge-Zero II vibrato, the Ibanez RG1XXV-FPK is a worthy anniversary instrument in an authentic eighties style.

The Seymour Duncan Invader is designed for the heaviest tones a passive pickup can produce.

The Sustainiac® Driver/Pickup produces beautiful Humbucker tones when the Sustain switch is off, and works as the Sustainiac Driver when switched On. With that same distinctive sound and high quality esteemed even by pro players, Ibanez compact effects pedals set the new standard in guitar sound.

The return of a legend! The heaviest of the Ibanez 9 series, the SD9 (the SD stands for “sonic distortion”) has risen from the ashes, newly modified to cast that metal-head of yours even deeper into the overdrive netherworld. Hit “Mid Boost,” hit “Gain Boost”, and say goodbye your loved ones. Grab a chord and hold on... Toto, I don’t think we’re in Kansas anymore…
